The «Letters in grid» app is a good app for children who are beginning to master the art of reading. The app gives good practice identifying letters. The objective is to locate the 10 correct letters in a grid of 40 letters. For each letter there are four levels: small letters, capital letters, small and capital letters, and smal and capital letters with funny shapes.
Letter sounds
When learning to read, we combine letter sounds into words. That’s why we focus on the letter sounds instead of the letter names. To help your child learn the letter sounds and thus master the art of reading even faster, a voice will repeat the letter sound each time a letter is tapped.
